I thought I&#8217;ve got to get it on camera, because sometimes she doesn&#8217;t always do things a second time. It started when I said, &#8221;Angel you know if you&#8217;re making those sorts of sounds, you must be able to say something&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That&#8217;s when I started making sounds myself and it just came out. I had no warning or anything [&#8230;] because I thought she&#8217;d never speak again. You don&#8217;t like to get your hopes up.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Angel&#8217;s parents also spoke about their daughter&#8217;s changes in behaviour after she started a relationship with\u00a0Bowskill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Clothes. Her appearance. Angel used to wear a lot of skinny jeans. She had a beautiful figure,&#8217; said Nikki.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That went to wearing tracksuits and hoodies and not wearing makeup,&#8217; said Paddy Lynn, Angel&#8217;s father.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She didn&#8217;t really have her hair down like she used to &#8211; it would be tied up in a bun.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Nikki and Patrick were told their daughter would not survive after the tragedy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CCTV caught the moment Angel was forced into a van by Bowskill and his accomplice Rocco Sansome in Rothley, Leicestershire, in September 2020 after an argument.<\/p>\n<p>She then fell out of the vehicle, which was driven by Sansome, as it travelled at 60mph, before she was found by horrified members of the public.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bowskill was jailed for seven and a half years earlier this year while Sansome received 21 months. You have come so far in the last year.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>And as her mother tells her &#8216;I love you&#8217;, Angel points to her eye, her heart, then her parent, before making the number two with her fingers to reciprocate back.<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE:\u00a0Emotional moment paralysed young Angel Lynn, 21, signs &#8216;I love you too&#8217; to her mother in new Channel 4 documentary &#8211; after she was left brain-damaged during horror kidnapping by her jealous ex-boyfriend<\/h3>\n<p>Nikki replies to her &#8216;I know you do baby&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>More heartbreaking footage showed bubbly Angel singing, dancing and laughing with her friends before she met her controlling boyfriend who kidnapped her and changed her life forever.<\/p>\n<p>Her parents revealed how it went downhill when she met jobless Bowskill who took away her independence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Angel always wanted to be a forensic scientist and work for the police, she was very ambitious,&#8217; her father Paddy told. &#8216;But when she met Chay all ambitions went down the drain.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>In the documentary &#8216;The Kidnap of Angel Lynn,&#8217; Angel&#8217;s mother Nikki and cousin Fahren describe an &#8216;amazing&#8217; former relationship Angel had, but when that ended Angel slipped away from the friendship group.<\/p>\n<p>When she started to get &#8216;back out there&#8217; was when she met Chay, Nikki said, &#8216;which changed her life&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I didn&#8217;t really like Chay from the beginning. He didn&#8217;t have a job, Angel&#8217;s always had a job,&#8217; Paddy, Angel&#8217;s father, said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Angel always made out she wasn&#8217;t going out with him, they were just friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;With her first boyfriend she never used to hide anything from us, we knew where she was. But everything changed when she met Chay, she used to tell fibs so she must have been ashamed of him, probably because he wasn&#8217;t a good boy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It broke my heart because me and Angel were always close. As soon as we found out we were having a girl I said let&#8217;s call her Angel &#8211; and she&#8217;s always been my angel. She was always daddy&#8217;s girl.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Paddy described how Angel was always &#8216;fun&#8217; and &#8216;adventurous&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/09\/75286239-12503675-image-m-24_1694419392894.jpg\" height=\"850\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Bowskill was jailed for seven and a half years earlier this year. Bowskill&#8217;s sentence was later increased to 12 years\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/09\/70748127-12503675-Angel_seen_with_Nikki_is_slowly_recovering_and_undergoing_rehabi-a-26_1694419883947.jpg\" height=\"803\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Nikki and Patrick were told their daughter would not survive after the tragedy<\/p>\n<p>But Nikki said she was told her daughter&#8217;s boyfriend &#8216;was a bad one and that he used to steal cars and motorbikes.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Nikki revealed Angel was doing a public services college course and had got a competitive place on a trip away &#8211; but had turned down the opportunity to stay with Bowskill.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Wherever Chay went, Angel went,&#8217; Nikki said, adding that they used to go from &#8216;hotel to hotel&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Angel&#8217;s mother revealed she had got a tattoo on her ankle which said Chay&#8217;s name.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She wanted both excitement and love, and that&#8217;s probably what she thought she was getting at the start,&#8217; Nikki said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But she revealed she was told Bowskill &#8216;used to steal cars &#8211; and he finally got caught&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Her father hoped she would &#8216;see sense&#8217; when Bowskill was sent to prison, but it didn&#8217;t work out that way.<\/p>\n<p>Nikki tells the documentary that Angel always seemed to be running around after Bowskill, sending him money, and that she would make sure she was home for 6pm to speak to him.
