The Victorian government has announced changes to the road map from Friday October 29, as the state will reach its 80 per cent double dose vaccination target almost a week ahead of schedule.

From Friday, Melburnians will be able to travel to regional Victoria and interstate.

Most indoor settings, including restaurants, pubs, gyms and hairdressers will be open with no caps, as long as staff and patrons are fully vaccinated.

Entertainment venues will open with a 75 per cent cap on indoor seated venues such as cinemas and theatres.

Outdoor venues such as stadiums and zoos will open with limits up to 5,000 people.

Premier Daniel Andrews said he hoped to see a crowd of 80,000 people on the first day of the Boxing Day Test.
