FANS were surprised when Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes introduced Emmanuel Asuquo instead of their usual money expert Martin Lewis.
But not to worry – Emmanuel has a wealth of experience in the financial sector and on-screen, so viewers are in capable hands.
Who is Emmanuel Asuquo?
Emmanuel Asuquo is a Financial Adviser who is standing in for money expert Martin Lewis on This Morning.
Explaining how he would help This Morning viewers, Emmanuel said: “What I’d like to help people with is buying a property or the sale of a property or even having mortgage issues.
“Or that big one right now – trying to get a refund on a flight. Any financial issue like that, give us a call and come here to help today.”
Eamonn said in response: "You are the man. No problem too big or too small."
Although fans were surprised not to see regular money expert Martin Lewis on the breakfast show, it was revealed that Martin is just taking holiday and will be back.
Asuquo grew up in Tower Hamlets East London.
He worked as a Financial Planning Manager at Barclays after graduating in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich.
He has since worked for HBOS, HSBC & NatWest.
He is also founder of Noir Excel which, in his words, is a “financial education company that aims to help people reach their financial goals by equipping them with the knowledge and insight to make accurate financial decisions.”
He has given financial education across the country and has spoken to over 20,000 people in the last two years.

Asuquo was an expert on the Channel 4 series Save Well, Spend Better.
In the show, four money experts were challenged to help the UK public sort out their personal finances.
He has also appeared on BBC Radio London and in The Telegraph.

Yes, Emmanuel is married.
His wife runs a cake-making business in South London.
She posts advice videos on her Instagram for brides looking for wedding cakes.
