Bake Off: The Professionals 2021 began on Tuesday, May 25.

The next episode is on tonight (June 22) at 8pm on Channel 4.

This year, we will see a brand new batch of contestants competing to impress the pickiest judges on TV and top patisserie experts: Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

In each episode the new teams must summon up all their patisserie prowess to wow the judges and stay in the competition.

Twelve teams of pastry chefs from restaurants, hotels, and small businesses in a bid to take home the trophy.

Who are the Bake Off: The Professionals contestants?

Andrew Minto and Michael Coggan, who work as pastry chefs for Cardiff Bay’s Gin and Bake, will be competing on Bake Off: The Professionals.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: “These boys are proud of their Welsh roots and are ready to show the patisserie world what Wales has to offer and hopefully take the trophy back to Cardiff for the second year running.”

Who is hosting Bake Off: The Professionals?

Tom Allen and Great British Bake Off favourite Liam Charles will present the show once again.

We will see a brand new batch of contestants competing to impress the pickiest judges on TV and top patisserie experts: Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

In each episode the new teams must summon up all their patisserie prowess to wow the judges and stay in the competition.

Who won the series last year?

The 2020 series saw Laurian Veaudor and Thibault Courtoisier crowned champions.

They had entered the competition back in 2017 but lost out when it came to the final.

The pair represented Cocorico Patisserie in Cardiff.
