This Morning's Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary in hysterics over rude homeschool drawings

THIS Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary couldn't contain themselves as they laughed over rude homeschool drawings on today's show.

The ITV duo were left in stitches as parents sent in their childrens’ unusual pictures and homeschooling mishaps.

During the much-loved segment, Alison, 45, shared a bizarre picture of a robot and explained: "This is the robot he designed to help mummy around the house."

Meanwhile, Dermot laughed out loud while showing viewers little Emily's drawing.

He said: "Emily, my girl decided she couldn’t be bothered to do any more work so just continued writing the word cockpit."

The host, 47, then showed a picture of an aeroplane with the word "c**k" written on it.

Reading out another description of a dinosaur drawing, Alison said: "My child had a complete the dinosaur, the innocent mind of a child and she didn’t have a clue what I was laughing at."

There was also a picture of a yellow fairy with wings that looked like breasts.

Commenting on the drawing, Alison joked: "That looks like me!"

The segment has went down a storm with viewers in the past.

Back in 2019, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield asked viewers to send in their children's most bizarre portraits – and the results certainly did not disappoint.

Along with a family portrait recreation that went seriously awry, Facebook users also submitted screenshots of their children's laugh-out-loud spelling errors and questionable sculptures.

Meanwhile, Alison and Dermot have proven to be a hit with viewers after taking over from Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford this month.

The presenters' debut show drew in 1.41million viewers, 200,000 more than tuned in for Eamonn and Ruth's final episode on December 18.

Show bosses left Eamonn, 61, and Ruth, 60, stunned late last year when they revealed a major shake-up to the presenting line-up.

Ruth reportedly felt blindside by the move that saw her and Eamonn relegated to holiday cover after 14 years as Friday hosts.

Alison and Dermot first impressed when they were put together to host last summer.
