THE Witcher has dropped a spin-off miniseries which will reveal the fantasy drama’s biggest mysteries and surprising plot twists.

Following the release of the documentary special Making The Witcher, Netflix have given delighted fans more content based around the fantasy drama series.

Viewers will get the chance to sink their teeth into a whole season of making-of episodes titled The Witcher: A Look Inside the Episodes.

Netflix have done well to capitalise on the well-received first series.

Along with the documentary special and the making-of series, there is also an anime movie, and a prequel spin-off series which have all been either announced or released.

Lets not forget a second series of The Witcher which is currently being filmed!


The official synopsis for the special miniseries reads: "With series creator Lauren S. Hissrich as your guide, take an in-depth journey into the stories and themes powering the first season of 'The Witcher.'"

NX on Netflix also tweeted: "Go behind all 8 chapters of @WitcherNetflix. The Witcher: A Look Inside The Episodes is now streaming on Netflix. Episode 1 – The End’s Beginning."

Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich tweeted from her account: "Want to dive deeper into The Continent? I'd love to be your personal guide.

The Witcher director Stephen Surjik has revealed the Netflix show has returned to filming its second season earlier than planned and "spirits are high" on set.

He shared a photo from the set to his Instagram page earlier this week, revealing that filming has restarted.

The director captioned the image: "It's T minus 3 min to ignition and lift off for our second run at Witcher S2. Everyone is being cautious but spirits are high.

"You're looking out new covid communication system, reducing close contact among crew. Thank you Matt, Kelly Lauren and Netflix."
