While speaking on Good Morning Britain, Emmerdale star Karen Blick revealed her top guess for the Masked Singer’s enigmatic Badger. Fans and judges have been trying to decipher his clues for weeks now and will find out tonight as all the remaining contestants get unmasked in the finale.

According to Karen, none other than actor Andy Serkis is hiding under the Badger costume.

Guessing who it could be, Karen said: “When I first heard badger, I thought, ‘I’ve got absolutely no idea.‘”

“So the clues – being able to go out and not be recognised and often seen in green – I’m thinking it could be Andy Serkis, the actor,” she said.

Her reasons are that “he does a lot of work with green screen, that sort of thing” like his role as Gollum in Lord of the Rings.

The soap star also added that: “I think he’s done a bit of singing in the past as well, he’s been in stuff where he’s had to sing.

“So that’s my out there guess,” she said, as the Serkis’s name hadn’t really been mentioned before by anyone.

“And also the swagger, he’s a very physical actor, and I think that swagger could be a bit of a clue.”

While watching the morning programme, one fan said: “Who the hell is Andy Serkis….never heard of him….not that I would watch the masked singer……BORING.”

On tonight’s final show, Badger, Sausage and Robin will have to charm the judges to become the winner of this year’s edition of The Masked Singer.

Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gillingham so far are mostly clueless about the identity of any of the contestants.

In previous episodes, they thought to have pinned down Robin as JLS singer Aston Merrygold, but after the semi-final last week, they straight-up denied ever having been in the band.

The top guessed for Robin at the moment are Adam Lambert and Lee Ryan.

Stacey Solomon and Stacey Dooley have all been tipped as the famous face hiding behind the Sausage mask.

Their identity will also be revealed on tonight’s show.

However guest judge Alan Carr is sure Sheridan Smith is Sausage.

“I used to have a life! I used to go out! It makes my weekend though, The Masked Singer!” said the presenter.

Last week, Dragon was the celebrity being eliminated by the vote of the studio audience.

Once unmasked it was revealed that it was Sue Perkins singing under the green monster.

Davina was probably the most surprised by the reveal, complimenting the former Bake-Off presenter on her New York accent.

The comedian expressed how “liberating and brilliant” it has been for her to perform as Dragon.

The Masked Singer airs on ITV on Saturday at 7pm.
