The Chase's Bradley Walsh makes shock jibe at contestant after shaky performance

THE Chase's Bradley Walsh made a cheeky dig at a contestant after she made the final despite a shaky performance.

The 61-year-old host was joined by player Helen, who answered three correct answers in the cash builder round and narrowly scraped through to the final round.

Despite being hesitant with her answers during the cash builder, Helen was hoping to take on Shaun Wallace and beat him.

Bradley quipped: "I think you could have done a bit better than that."

Going head to head with Shaun, Helen was immediately left stumped at the first question.

Bradley asked what is the meaning of "kidology".

She was given three possible answers goat Keeping, baby Sitting or deceiving people – with the correct answer being the later.

Helen went for "goat keeping" leaving Bradley bemused and viewers scratching their heads.

Surprisingly, Helen managed to get back to the final round after getting the rest of her questions correct.

Bradley was also baffled that Helen made it back, he quipped: "I got to be honest with you Helen, I thought we got a bit jammy there to be honest."

One wrote: "How on earth has Helen got through? #TheChase,"

Another said: "I'm sorry, but goat keeping! #TheChase."

A third joked: "Seen it all now "kidology"… looking after goats #thechase."

Another added: "#TheChase …and they have!! After the kidology answer, I rest my case."

Someone else posted: "Helen getting through….You can’t make it up #thechase."

Unfortunately, the guests couldn’t beat the Chaser this time and went home empty handed.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
