Stacey Dooley confirms series two of makeup show ‘Glow Up’

Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, has been a hit for BBC since it began back in 2019, with documentary maker Stacey Dooley having acted as host in the first two series’. With the programme continuing to be a success for the broadcaster, it was confirmed it would be set to return for a third outing – but Stacey would be stepping down. Now, it’s been revealed former Radio 1 DJ Maya Jama will be taking over when the series returns to air later this year.

The competition will see 10 budding make-up stars hoping to take the title as they navigate their way through various challenges 

On her new role, Maya said: “I absolutely love Glow Up and can’t wait to join the family!

“I’m obsessed with make-up and creating different looks – it’s going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to see what the MUAs [make-up artists] get up to.”

It has already been confirmed judges Dominic Skinner and Val Garland will remain on the show for its third series.
