Spoilers: Toyah's past with Eva destroys her baby dream in Corrie?

Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) is getting closer and closer to her long held dream of being a mother, something that has been with her for many years in Coronation Street.

But her past looks set to come back to haunt her as her previous deal with Eva Price to pass baby Susie off as her own is brought up by social worker Karen. With Toyah forced to come clean, will this impact on her chances of fostering?

On top of this, her sister Leanne (Jane Danson) is struggling with the horrific nightmare of her son Oliver dying – and when it becomes clear that the youngster can’t breathe unaided and it might be time to consider some final options, Toyah and Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) realise that it could be the wrong time to press ahead with their plans.

Karen from social services questions Toyah at length about the situation with Susie and her intention to pass her off as her own.

Toyah and Imran are overjoyed when Karen says she will recommend them to the fostering panel. But their joy turns to sadness when Nick (Ben Price) calls from the hospital with Oliver’s news.

The doctor has broken the news to Leanne and Steve (Simon Gregson) that they’ve had to up Oliver’s sedation again as his seizures are beyond their control and life support is the only thing keeping him alive but Leanne insists that she is not giving up on her son.

As Toyah and Imran try to be there for the family, their plans are once again on the backburner as Toyah knows that Leanne needs her support now more than ever.

But will there ever be a good time to pursue their dream of becoming a family?
