Spoilers: Kim’s dead body is found after she dies in poison ending in Emmerdale

There’s shock at Home Farm for Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) when he finds the dead body of his mum Kim (Claire King) after she dies following an explosive showdown with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), the man who appears to have been unmasked as her phantom poisoner in Emmerdale.

Kim has found out the truth about Will and lures him to Home Farm in order to catch him on camera lacing her drink with drugs -and he seems to walk right into trap.

Kim is gutted to make the discovery after Jamie breaks into Will’s home and takes a picture of a supply of diazepam in his belongings.

Doctors had previously confirmed that there had been diazepam in her bloodstream, which is what alerted her to the fact that she had been drugged.

Will walks in on Jamie and when Jamie says that he has been caught, Will attempts to argue that the drugs are his own prescription.

Jamie presents his evidence to a horrified Kim who then decides to carry out her entrapment of Will. Calling him to Home Farm on his day off, Kim puts her plan into action.

As Will argues that he is not her poisoner, Jamie gets an urgent call and rushes off to Home Farm to see Will being carted off by the police – and Kim lying dead on the floor.

Jamie’s world falls apart as his mum is zipped up in a bodybag – and he wishes he could have done more to avert the tragedy.

How will the village react to Kim’s death?
