South Park fans floored by cheeky James Bond Easter Egg in film

South Park film Bigger Longer & Uncut might have been released over 20 years ago, but that’s not stopped fans from losing it over an Easter egg this week.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the 1999 film, which brought the long-running, filthy Comedy Central animation to the big screen, have recently waxed lyrical on a blink-and-you’ll-miss it moment not long into the feature film.

After Kenny sets himself on fire after trying to light one of his farts (classic South Park), a dump truck pours salt all over him, before he’s rushed to hospital.

It’s there the aptly-monikered Dr. Doctor and his team try their best to bring him back to life, but they accidentally replace his heart with a baked potato, which explodes, killing him.

Again, classic South Park.

But as they rush him into surgery, one fan on Reddit pointed out the doctor’s ward board, which has each medic noted with their particular job – with the left side stating ‘schedule’ and the right as ‘doctor’.

Rather brilliantly, a 007 Easter egg has been expertly planted, with Dr ‘No’ on the schedule to ‘Kill Bond’.

We’ve also got a Dr ‘Turdman’ down for ‘rectal surgery’ but we’ll leave that one alone.

The moment only flashes on the screen for a short period, before the scene carries on.

Well, did you expect Trey Parker and Matt Stone to hand-feed you the sneaky lols?

While we’re sure this has been picked up by keen South Park fans in years gone by, this particular moment has well and truly struck a note after user Tokyono posted it to Reddit on Sunday.

It’s caused quite the sir with one commenting: ‘Wow, after seeing the movie so many times and watching the show as a kid, I never realized I didn’t know that doctor’s name. (sic)’

Another applauded the quick spot: ‘Now that’s a decent find. I’m so sick of submissions being like “in Toy Story, Woody has the name ANDY written on his boot. This symbolizes his ownership to Andy.”’

Tipping their hat to the stealth find, one added: ‘Over 20 years later and someone finally noticed. I bet Matt and Trey are excited people finally noticed.’

Fans have been on high alert, trying to dissect each moment of their favourite films, with just last week viewers of Jurassic Park losing it after an assistant’s hand was seen manoeuvring one of the raptors in the kitchen scene.

Keep watching, people!
