Piers Morgan wasted no time in slamming Dan Walker on Good Morning Britain today after it was confirmed last week he had shared the highest ever ratings of GMB with co-host Susanna Reid upon their return to the ITV show. When the BBC Breakfast host uploaded a glum-looking photo of himself onto social media, Piers issued a cruel warning about the future of his role.
“Last Tuesday you and I came back,” Piers began. “I never like to overstate the impact of our return…”
Interrupting, Susanna said: “But the ratings were massive.”
“We had the biggest ratings we’ve ever had in the history of GMB,” Piers revealed.
“A 28 percent share which is the biggest we’ve ever had and the BBC crashed to the lowest ratings of the year on the same day.”

“We beat them at moments of the programme,” Susanna remarked.
Piers then commented on a picture of a glum-looking Dan which the BBC Breakfast host had shared with his followers.
“I’ll tell you what Dan if you do lose your job over the ratings and it can’t be long sadly,” Piers swiped.
“God forbid you do [lose it] because we need you there.”
