He captioned the video: “That dog should be two meters away. #justsaying #socialdistancing #itsnotthedoggydoingdoggy.”

One bemused fan commented: "Does Emily know you're watching this? Ha ha".

Another wrote: "Omg that’s just too much warn us first please".

Pete is doing his best to keep himself – and his kids – entertained during lockdown. Earlier this week he filmed Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, hosing down his white Range Rover and Bentley in the front yard of his mansion.

Peter showed his kids, who he shares with ex Katie Price, spraying each other with the hose before turning their efforts to the cars.

Peter shared the playful clips on his Instagram Stories, writing: "They're all getting involved."

The 47-year-old has been prioritising looking after and homeschooling Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo, three, while wife Emily works on the NHS frontline.

The doctor recently revealed she was struggling to sleep amid the crisis.

Emily told OK! magazine: "My sleep has been terrible, but I've been doing mindfulness exercises on my phone and that's really great."

She went on: "There is a certain degree of anxiety at times because it's [coronavirus] such an unknown situation.

"But the whole country is really behind the NHS, so we're feeling a lot of love and support."

Meanwhile, Pete admitted that he too was having “sleepless nights”.

He told The Sun Online:  “Of course I've had sleepless nights, of course I worry about Emily, I worry about the kids.

“She says to me that her biggest worry is me getting it because I'm 47. I'm not concerned about that, I am concerned about her a lot and that follows through to the kids.

“She's thinking about me and my contact with the children and passing anything onto me and I am thinking about her.”
