New EastEnders trailer reveals Bobby's fate and Chantelle's shock revelation

Our weekly double-bill of EastEnders might once again be at an end, but there’s no need to fret, as — if this brand new trailer is anything to go by — next week’s instalments look as gripping as ever.

With Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) having collapsed in the previous instalment, viewers wondered about what the future holds for the young lad. Well, the trailer reveals that he’s very much alive — but Peter (Dayle Hudson) isn’t too pleased when he discovers the reason as to why he collapsed in the first place.

Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) found herself locked in Kheerat Panesar’s (Jaz Deol) office during the latest episode, and the previews reveals that events pick cup on the very same night, and — with emotions running high — it seems as if she prepares herself to open up to her new boss about her relationship with Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) — but will she reveal all?

Elsewhere, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) confronts Michaela Turnbull (Fiona Allen) over the shocking revelation she made in the previous episode, when she suggested she knew about what abuser Tony King (Chris Coghill) did.

A furious Gray gets stuck in traffic as he becomes determined to track down Whitney, while Jean Slater’s (Gillian Wright) behaviour continues to worry her nearest and dearest.

It’s all kicking off in Walford next week, that’s for sure, and you’re not going to want to miss a single second!

EastEnders continues Monday 4 May at 8pm on BBC One.
