Love Island fans fuming as ITVHub goes down minutes before show launches

Love Island fans were left raging after the ITV Hub went down shortly before the 2021 launch show kicked off on ITV 2.

Twitter was quickly awash with angry supporters of the show unable to see the latest batch of singletons enter the villa.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: "Naaaaur why is ITV Hub on my TV crashing, I can't watch Love Island."

Another added: "10 minutes wrestling with the ITV Hub and I finally have video to go with the audio #LoveIsland."

A fourth raged: "As if ITV hub has crashed."

Earlier in the evening football fans were also left raging after the ITV Hub from during the Euros.

The streaming site was frozen for hundreds during an all important corner during the France V Switzerland match.

After a year off, Love Island has returned to its iconic Majorca.

Once again former MTV gossip girl Laura Whitmore is back hosting the show while her husband Iain Stirling is providing the tongue-in-cheek voice over.

First up was Jake who coupled up with blonde babe Liberty.

"I am happy, very happy," the buff lad beamed before Liberty gushed to Laura that he is 'a bit me'.

The second boy to enter the sun-kissed villa was Aaron.

The 24-year-old from London boasted about working with 'supermodels and VIPs' in his high-end job in the capital.

Clearly full of himself the star, who has been single for seven months, insisted he is ready to settle down and be a good boyfriend.

Aaron was lucky enough to get two of the girls to step forward.

Both Faye and Kaz stepped forward after he entered the villa, however, Aaron swerved both girls to pick Shannon.

Asked by Laura how she found being picked despite not stepping forward, Shannon replied: "I don't know. I think it is just nerves. I will come out of my shell."
