Loose Women’s Denise slams ‘men in suits’ for not supporting Harry and Meghan
Loose Women erupted into a fiery debate today as the ITV panel discussed whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should lose their royal Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
Despite over 60 per cent of the audience voting in favour of the couple losing their titles, the women on today's panel took a very different stance.
Denise Welch argued that the couple have done "every single thing" they promised they would do when they announced they were stepping down.
Sharing her views on why the pair should keep their titles, Denise argued that Meghan would have been a "great role model".
Denise said: "Megan has campaigned for women and women of colour since she was eight years old.
"She would have been a great role model for this country."
Speaking about the couple's highly-anticipated Netflix show, after they signed a huge new deal to be at the helm of multiple programmes and documentaries on the streaming service, Denise said she thinks it's a great move.
She shared: "The Netflix show will be good for women of colour and mental health awareness. I think it will make changes."
Denise added: "I think it's important that we support Harry and Meghan."
The conversation then led to why the panel feels Harry and Meghan receive so much hate, with the Loose Women ladies agreeing that they think it comes down to racism towards Meghan.
Kelle Bryan said: "People are just scared of change…"
Denise quipped: "Hmmm, its the men in suits who don't want change."
Kelle continued, having the couple's back: "They have done everything they said they were going to do after stepping down.
"They've paid the money back for Frogmore, they're finically independent and they said they will always support her Majesty.
"They're entitled to their titles. I don't see an issue."
