Hollyoaks' Lisa Loveday's explosive final exit will air next month after horror clash with Felix Westwood

HOLLYOAKS' Lisa Loveday's explosive exit will air the first week the soap returns.

The shop assistant – who is played by actress Rachel Adedeji in the Channel 4 soap since  2016 – will be seen for the final time next month after a dramatic clash with secret lover Felix Westwood.

Lisa will attend her cousin Mitchell’s wedding to Scott with the whole Deveraux family and will be intent on going public with uncle Felix.

Unbeknown to Lisa, Felix is also dating her aunt, Martine and in a shocking turn of events viewers will see Lisa's final moments in the village.

But will Felix keep his secret? Or will someone else discover the relationship?

Lisa will bow out in the week beginning September 7 when the soap returns with brand new episodes on Channel 4.


A source said: "Lisa's exit has been years in the making and it's going to be explosive.

"There's a shocking showdown between the Deverauxs.

"Fans are going to be on the edge of their seats to how it all plays out."

Actress Rachel's exit was revealed earlier this year however she had told bosses she intended to leave more than a year ago.

Speaking about her exit, Rachel said: "I have had a fantastic time playing the role of Lisa Loveday. 

"I was blessed to have met and worked alongside some of the most talented and professional people during my time on the show. 

"Hollyoaks was an amazing opportunity for me to learn and grow as an actress and I am truly grateful. 

"As much as I have enjoyed my time on the show, I have chosen to move on. I am looking forward to all opportunities that now await me.”

Soap boss Bryan Kirkwood added: "Four years ago we were thrilled to cast X-Factor star Rachel Adedeji as leading lady Lisa Loveday.  

"Rachel made an immediate impact delivering impeccable performances with superstar charisma.

“I would like to thank Rachel for creating such a memorable and much-loved character.  She will be very much missed.”
