EastEnders Chantelle aftermath, Corrie Geoff new target & 18 more soap spoilers

With tragedy in EastEnders, an accusation in Coronation Street, a huge showdown in Emmerdale, and two huge returns in Hollyoaks, it’s safe to say that next week is not one to be missed in the land of soap.

Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) finds himself questioned by the police in the wake of Chantelle’s (Jessica Plummer) tragic death, as the Taylor clan learn of what’ transpired.

Meanwhile, Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) makes a huge return, and she’s out for revenge where Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) is concerned!

Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is confronted by Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street, while Debbie Webster (Sue Denavey) makes a huge revelation to Kevin (Michael Le Vell) about Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).

It’s a week of epic proportion in Emmerdale, as word of Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) being responsible for Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) hit-and-run reaches Cain (Jeff Hordley), who attempts to seek murderous revenge as a result!

What’s more, Aaron (Danny Miller) is on the verge of romance, as newcomer Ben (Simon Lennon) catches his eye.

Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) makes a shock return to Hollyoaks, as does abuser Buster Smith (Nathan Sussex) — albeit via a series of flashbacks.

EastEnders

Gray is questioned at the police station in the wake of Chantelle’s death, as Karen and Mitch return from Southend to discover that something awful has transpired.

Stacey returns to Walford, and approaches Ruby. Afterwards, she meets with Martin, who’s evidently not pleased with her.

Mitch comes to realise that not all is right between Gray and Kheerat, and thus he meets with the latter on several occasions to find out what’s going on. Kheerat informs him that he and Chantelle spoke a lot during lockdown, revealing that she wasn’t happy with Gray.

Coronation Street

Debbie’s suspicions about Abi continue — all the more so when Kevin suggests they start anew. Therefore, when she learns that Abi and Peter were spotted together — albeit simply going to Abi’s physio appointment — she decides enough is enough, and tells Kevin that his girlfriend is having an affair.

Geoff heads to Adam’s office in search of information regarding Yasmeen’s case. Daniel is present, and he can’t help but berate him for using vulnerable sex workers — something which results in Geoff storming out. However, he later returns having left behind an envelope, which allows Daniel another opportunity to reveal how much he dislikes him.

Unable to locate the missing envelope, Geoff confronts Alya in the street, and accuses her of stealing his cash. A guilt-ridden Daniel — and a suspicious Adam — watch from afar.

Emmerdale

Fed up of Jamie’s behaviour, Andrea reveals to Moira that it was he who left her for head. Moira reels and confronts Belle — who covers her tracks and pretends she didn’t know. Belle heads up to home Farm to reveal to Jamie what’s happened.

Belle insists that he double-check the car has been expertly disposed of, and thus they head to the lake to do just that. Jamie reveals his true feelings for Belle while there, but neither anticipated the arrival of Cain — with a bat in hand!

Aaron spends quite a lot of time up at The Hide, and Liv soon realises its because he fancies newcomer Ben. However, in spite of Aaron’s hopes, conflict ensues between the two men, as Ben reminds him that he bullied him for being gay when he was in school. Aaron is mortified, and attempts to make amends.

Hollyoaks

Brody has been feeling somewhat down, leaving Sienna worried, and he later reveals that he went to visit Buster — a meeting which we see unfold via flashbacks.

Liberty asks Brody to join in on an anti-natal session, but a reminder of Buster results in him storming out. As she searches the village for him, she ends up going into labour in Cunningham’s Grande Bazaar. Later, she delivers Sienna sand Brody’s baby in The Hutch. It’s a baby girl.

Misbah makes a return to the village following her secondment, only to discover the aftermath of Imran’s party. She receives a mystery call which leaves her flustered, and Leela reckons she’s got a new man.
