Does Geoff get found out in Coronation Street?

On Coronation Street tonight, poor Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) will have more bad news come her way when she discovers she has caught an STI.

Knowing she hasn’t slept with anyone else, Yasmeen will bring up her diagnosis with Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) asking him how she contracted it.

Will he come clean, and will she discover the truth? Or will he manage to turn the situation around in his favour again?

Does Geoff get found out in Coronation Street?

Later in the week, Geoff will admit to sleeping with several escorts, even forcing Yasmeen to wear a sexy dress he bought for one of them.

The discovery that she has contracted chlamydia though Geoff’s indiscretions will be a wake-up call for Yasmeen who will confront him in a violent altercation.

Whether or not Geoff’s abusive behaviour will be rumbled one and for all still remains to be seen.

Yasmeen’s granddaughter Alya (Sair Khan) became aware of his coercive behaviour earlier this month and uncovered his abusive past, discovering he was previously arrested for affray.

She told Yasmeen, but Geoff managed to spin the story around, claiming he was the victim.

And then, of course, there’s Yasmeen’s close friend Cathy (Melanie Hill), who has been witness to Geoff’s behaviour.

However, Geoff managed to incite an argument between the friends last week with Yasmeen telling Cathy she doesn’t need her.

In scenes later this week, a struggle will ensue between Geoff and Yasmeen, after she stands up to her vile husband, armed with a wine bottle.

Will either of them go too far and end up slaughtering the other?

All will soon be revealed.

Coronation Street continues Monday 27 April at 7:30pm on ITV.
