Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor thinks pandmic will make us 'better people'
Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor hopes that the coronavirus pandemic will make us ‘better people’.
The star, who plays Sally Webster in the ITV soap, joined Lorraine Kelly on today’s episode of Good Morning Britain via a live video link as she self-isolates with her family at home in Manchester.
Discussing the eventual aftermath of Covid-19, Sally predicted: ‘I really think we’re going to come out of this better people.
‘We will be looking out for each other. Hopefully we’ll all come back and we’ll do things a little better.’
Here’s hoping, hey Sal?
Speaking about the Coronation Street team, Sally revealed that she doesn’t believe any members of the cast or crew have tested positive for the virus and explained that they’re all keeping in touch.
‘We’re in a girls WhatsApp group which is really good,’ she said. ‘We all tell each other what we’re up to and what to watch and what exercise things to do, it’s good fun and it’s really nice to keep in touch.’
Sally added: ‘I watched the Streets the other night and I really miss everyone, it’s so weird! I’m so used to going into work and seeing everyone. It’s strange.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV and Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm.
