TELLY comic Miranda Hart has doubled her fees on a celebrity video website.

Miranda, 47, pushed up her fee from £80 to £166 a matter of days after lockdown was brought in.

She signed up to Cameo, which provides personalised messages from celebrities to fans for a fee, at the beginning of March.

The multi-millionaire told fans: “Hello. I’m thrilled to be on here.

“Happy to help with any struggles people might be going through. This is going to be such fun.”

Last week the comedian, best known for her BBC sitcom Miranda, was charging £80 per video.

But by yesterday the price had more than doubled.

One shocked fan, who had considered booking her for a video, complained of feeling “ripped off” over the price hike.

They told The Sun: “To go from £80 to almost double in a matter of days feels really misjudged in this environment.

“It’s like she’s cashing in, which is a real shame. I was prepared to pay £80 but to then advertise for £166 feels like a bit of a rip-off.”

Other celebrities advertising their services on Cameo include Amy Childs, who offers videos for £20.75 and RuPaul Drag Race contestant Cheryl Hole at £29.05.
