Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan Are Reportedly Isolating Together in Chicago

Former Bachelor Peter Weber and contestant Kelley Flanagan are picking up where Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron left off, apparently.

Now that Brown has returned home to Alabama after spending a few weeks in Florida filming iconic TikToks with Cameron and his quarantine crew, Weber and Flanagan are stepping up to fill the void.

If you recall, Weber, who lives in Los Angeles with his parents, started hanging out with Flanagan in Chicago on March 25, well after the government and World Health Organization started urging people to practice social distancing. Now, Flanagan (who said she wasn't dating Weber as of March 12) and the pilot are reportedly isolating together in Chicago and making some TikTok videos à la Cameron and Brown. Though Weber has his own TikTok account, the two have kept their joint activities to Bachelor Nation member Dustin Kendrik's feed.

They looked particularly cozy doing the Flip the Switch challenge:

And yes, that does seem to be Flanagan's dress from her first night on The Bachelor.

I have to be honest here, though. There's something about Flanagan and Weber's TikToks that don't spark as much joy for me as Cameron and Brown's did. Where Cameron and Brown's TikToking was at minimum harmless fun and at most possibly romantic (!!!), I think there's something off about Weber and Flanagan's.

Maybe it's because we've been so inundated with Weber's dating drama since his Bachelor finale earlier this year. Remember, he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, then broke things off and went back to Madison Prewett, only to later end that relationship, as well. I'm having trouble keeping track. It's all so hectic, which makes me question if anything is genuine.

Perhaps I'm not the only one feeling skeptical. Sluss has been liking some pretty shady tweets about Weber lately and Cameron, who was likely joking, recently tweeted that the pilot should delete his TikTok account.

Peter Weber took the jab in stride, suggesting the two participate in a long-distance dance-off.

No matter which Bachelor Nation couples you ship, prepare yourselves for a lot more activity on social media from everybody.

Asteroid news: A ‘potentially hazardous’ 4KM rock will fly by Earth this month

The colossal asteroid is just one of many so-called near-Earth objects (NEOs) that frequently ping-up on NASA’s radars. But this particular asteroid is big enough to remind astronomers of the dangers lurking in deep space. And though this asteroid, dubbed 52768 (1998 OR2) , does not pose any danger to Earth, similar-sized objects have struck in distant the past.

What is a near-Earth object or NEO?

Many asteroids race around the Sun on trajectories that can bring them close to our planet at different points in time.

Occasionally, asteroid and comets will come close enough to Earth for NASA’s automated systems to track their orbits.

According to NASA, an NEO is “an asteroid or comet with a perihelion distance less than or equal to 1.3au”.

One au, or astronomical unit, is the distance between Earth and the Sun – about 93 million miles (149.6 million km).

NASA said 99 percent of all discovered NEOs are asteroids.

When will the Asteroid 52768 (1998 OR2) fly past Earth?

The space rock is expected to zip by on the morning of April 29.

NASA estimates the asteroid is racing around the Sun at speeds of about 8.7km per second or 19,461.3mph (31,320kmh).

NASA also estimates the asteroid measures somewhere between 1.11 miles and 2.54 miles (1.8km and 4.1km) across.

At its closest, the rock will shoot by from a distance of 3.9 million miles (6.29 million km).

In other words, the space rock will be about 16 times farther than the Moon is.

But astronomers expect the asteroid to be bright enough for small telescopes to pick up.

A ‘close’ passage astronomically can be very far away in human terms

NASA

Astrophysicist Gianluca Masi already managed to snap a picture of OR2.

On the night of the flyby, you will be able to watch it live online with the Virtual Telescope Project.

NASA said: “As they orbit the Sun, NEOs can occasionally approach close to Earth.

“Note that a ‘close’ passage astronomically can be very far away in human terms: millions or even tens of millions of kilometres.”

What is a potentially hazardous asteroid?

Some space rocks are big enough and bright enough to warrant observation from NASA.

NASA considers an asteroid potentially hazardous if it measures more than 492ft (150m) across and approaches Earth from within 4.6 million miles (7.5 million km).

NASA said: “A relatively small number of near-Earth objects pass close enough to Earth and are large enough in size to warrant close observation.

“That’s because the gravitational tug of the planets could, over time, cause an object’s orbital path to evolve into an Earth-crossing orbit.

“This allows for the possibility of a future collision.”

However, none of these objects are expected to strike Earth for many hundreds of years.

The US space agency said: “NASA knows of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth, so the probability of a major collision is quite small.

“In fact, as best as we can tell, no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years.”

'Grey's Anatomy' Fans Just Pointed Out a Major Dropped Storyline From Two Weeks Ago

Grey’s Anatomy fans know there’s been a lot going on with Dr. Andrew DeLuca this season. He’s been struggling with his mental health, but also lashing out at people, and when he does make good points about things/seem to have moments of clarity, the rest of the doctors don’t believe him. It’s a mess! But fans are wondering about one moment in particular, from two episodes ago.

At the end of “Give a Little Bit,” viewers saw DeLuca leave the hospital in a huff, angry that no one had believed that the girl he was treating was a victim of human trafficking. He drove off in his motorcycle, and he sped away in a way that made viewers thing he was heading for a crash. It was quite dramatic!

If you’re in the mood to laugh/refresh your memory, here’s what it looked like on a green screen:

But then, last week’s episode didn’t even feature DeLuca. And this week’s did, but it seemed like everyone forgot about the previous incident. Fans pointed it out on Reddit. “Follow-up to my previous question: Are we ever going to get a follow-up on DeLuca driving dramatically into the night?? TRULY WHAT WAS THE POINT?” Someone else wrote, “I can’t believe DeLuca is back after driving for a week!”

They’re definitely not wrong. It seemed like the show was setting us up for a major DeLuca crash/accident/near death experience, but that storyline was completely dropped. Guess it’s a good thing he’s okay?? For now, at least.

Jamie Dornan instagram

Some things are absolutely worth waiting for.

For many Americans, the Coronavirus has allowed for more free time at home to do various activities like read a book, watch TV, play puzzles or return to Instagram.

On Friday morning, Jamie Dornan surprised millions of followers by posting a brand-new photo to his page. And spoiler alert: He didn’t disappoint.

“Self isolation made me do it,” Jamie captioned his shirtless picture as blue paint covered his face, chest and bald head.

As you likely could have guessed, fans immediately expressed their excitement about the surprise return to social media.

“Mr Grey!” one follower commented while another took his movie character to another level with the message, “Mr. Blue will see you now.” LOL. Others recommended he join the Blue Man Group while some simply welcomed him back with open arms and a lot of “I Love You’s.” You’ve been missed sir.

If the Instagram return wasn’t exciting enough, E! will be airing the entire Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy this weekend.

And we promise, it’s not a coincidence.

Outside of social media, Jamie has been a busy man while raising three kids with his wife Amelia Warner.

In fact, it was previously confirmed that Jamie would be joining Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater in UCP’s TV adaption of Wondery’s hit podcast Dr. Death.

The project, which was slated to be a limited series and was being shopped by UCP last summer is based on the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, who will be played by Jamie.

Until it’s released, we’re crossing our fingers for more Instagrams in our future.

Spider-Man to the rescue! Superhero jogger cheers up kids in England

STOCKPORT, England — The northern English town of Stockport has a new hero in the battle to keep kids entertained during the coronavirus lockdown: Spider-Man!

Jason Baird, a local 34-year-old martial arts teacher, has taken to dressing up as the Marvel superhero for his daily jog, replete with acrobatic jumps and somersaults.

Swapping the towering skyline of New York for suburban Stockport, a town known for its hat-making heritage, Baird stopped by a primary school Wednesday and adopted Spider-Man’s iconic crouching pose for waving children.

“It’s just Co-op, and then I’ll be back,” Baird said of his route, referring to the local grocery store.

Following his visit to the school, Baird posed for a selfie with a policeman — contrasting with his counterpart in New York, who sometimes had a strained relationship with the authorities.

'Killing Eve' Season 3 Trailer: Time For More Killer Romance

We just got a Killing Eve season 3 trailer last week, but hey, one more won’t hurt. The BBC/AMC series is returning this month with all new cat and mouse games between enemies and would-be lovers Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Eve (Sandra Oh). Season 2 ended with Villanelle thinking she had killed Eve – but of course, Eve is still alive, and that’s going to complicate things. Watch the latest trailer below.

Killing Eve Season 3 Trailer

I’ve already seen some of Killing Eve season 3, and while I can’t tell you much about it yet, I can tell you that I continue to love this show. People seemed to be a bit down on season 2, especially since creator Pheobe Waller-Bridge was no longer writing the episodes. But I thought it was a solid second season – not quite as good as the first, but still one of my favorite shows.

Here’s the season 3 synopsis:

For Villanelle (Jodie Comer), the assassin without a job, Eve (Sandra Oh) is dead. For Eve, the ex-MI6 operative hiding in plain sight, Villanelle will never find her. All seems fine until a shocking and personal death sets them on a collision course yet again. The journey back to each other will cost both of them friends, family, and allegiances…and perhaps a share of their souls.

“I’m really excited about Villanelle’s journey this season,” said showrunner and lead writer Suzanne Heathcote. “I think we see elements of her character that we’ve never seen before and begin to understand who she is as a person. As for what to expect from Eve, Heathcote adds: “She’s forever changed because of what happened to her and what she’s been through, and it’s really about seeing her now, this new version of herself, and her acceptance of herself, which is very exciting and really takes her into new places.”

Series regulars Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Sean Delaney and Owen McDonnell are all back, and now joined by new cast members Dame Harriet Walter, Danny Sapani, Gemma Whelan, Camille Cottin, Steve Pemberton, Raj Bajaj, Turlough Convery, Pedja Bjelac, and Evgenia Dodina.

Killing Eve season 3 premieres April 12.

Meet Hilde Lysiak, the 13-Year-Old Journalist Who Inspired Apple TV+’s Home Before Dark

New to Apple TV+, Home Before Dark tells the story of the inquisitive 9-year-old daughter of a journalist. The TV series, based on the life of Hilde Lysiak, chronicles a precocious news prodigy as she moves to a new town and reports on a murder.

Right now, the real-life Lysiak is reporting on local businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic in her Arizona hometown. The now-13-year-old is founder of Orange Street News, which publishes under the screed: “HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN? NO STORY TOO BIG OR SMALL THE OSN WILL INVESTIGATE!”

Lysiak is also halfway through watching the first season of Home Before Dark. (A second season is on the way.) She paused to take a few questions from PEOPLE.

What was it like when you watched the first episode?
It’s the weirdest thing. I knew it was going to happen. But it’s way different. It felt like a dream. But when I realized it was real, I was able to admire what a good job everyone did. Brooklynn [Prince, who plays Hilde] is so amazing. She’s one of the most talented actresses ever.

In the first episode, Hilde talks about learning to notice things. Where did you learn to do that?
I used to follow my dad around a lot when he reported for the New York Daily News. I kind of realized from a young age that I loved reporting, and picking up things is important. And noticing. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t have that instinct. I picked it up really young.

When you started Orange Street News, people would tell you that you should be playing with dolls.
Truthfully, the criticism didn’t bother me that much. But I have younger sisters and I didn’t want them to see me being pushed around. So I made a video reading the comments. It was an amazing opportunity for me that most people don’t get. I wanted to show my main thing, to show a love of journalism. I want it to be cool.

People around you underestimated young people.
I was pretty little, like 8 or 9. I used being younger and people not taking me seriously to my advantage. People would tell me stuff because they thought it wasn’t going anywhere.

What do you do when you’re not reporting the news?
I look into conspiracy theories and stuff. I don’t believe them, but the most recent one I was looking into is the moon landing one. I go on a lot of bike rides. I like listening to Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, TLC, and Taylor Swift. I go to a lot of her concerts. I do normal kid stuff — except I like reporting the truth.

All 10 episodes of Home Before Dark are now available for streaming on Apple TV+.
