Wine experts share best pairings to go with Easter food and treats
Easter is just round the corner, and it’s time to start stocking up on chocolate eggs and ingredients for your roast dinner.
You may not be entertaining inside this year, but you may be meeting up with some friends and family outside.
The Rule of Six means you can meet up in a private garden with up to six people, or two different households.
So it’s very understandable if you’re planning to create an Easter feast – either for your household inside – or outside.
If you know what food you’ll be having – but unsure of which wines to pair with – you’ve come to the right place.
Luckily, wine experts at Laithwaite’s have recommended some amazing wine pairings for your classic Easter dishes and favourite seasonal treats.
Chateau de Dracy Bourgogne – £17.49
“For a match made in heaven, pair your roast lamb with this Pinot Noir. Its juicy, slightly spicy flavours make for the perfect pairing.”
Castel del Lago Bianco – £10.49
“If you’re looking for light and fresh, try this 2019 Garganega with a dash of Chardonnay. The bright lemony zip is the perfect match for your fish.”
