Victoria Beckham gets nostalgic as she stays in old childhood bedroom and gives fans a tour
Victoria Beckham has been giving fans a tour of her childhood bedroom.
The fashion designer and businesswoman, 48, who recently showed off her incredible waist-length hair in unseen snaps, was visiting her parents' house in Essex.
Staying the night at her parents' home, Victoria took to her Instagram stories to show fans what her old bedroom now looks like after being redecorated and turned into a guest room.
"So today me, David and the kids came to visit my mum and dad and this is my old bedroom. It brings back so many memories," she said, as she panned the camera around the room.
The room contained an ornate double bed, with a large mirror on the wall hung behind it, with a fluffy cream rug on the wooden floors.
In the corner of the room was also wooden stairs leading to the rest of the house.
The camera quickly turned to a collection of dolls in the room, as Victoria said: "My mum has redecorated, this was not my doll, but yeah, this is where I grew up."
She added: "I remember these dolls! So, this is Aunt Sally and this is Worzel Gummidge, and I remember my mum and dad giving these to me and my sister one Christmas when we were really young.
"It brings back such nice memories, it really does. It's so nice to come back."
The former Spice Girl was originally born in Harlow, later moving to Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, before returning to Essex during her childhood.
Victoria's trip back home to see her parents comes not longer after pals defended her after former footballer Rio Ferdinand, 44, claimed he's "never seen her eat".
Rio, who used to play alongside David Beckham at Man United and for England, recently spoke about his longstanding relationship with the couple, and discussed Victoria's theorised diet.
Speaking on the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O, Rio said: "I've never seen her eat anything. I don't remember anything that sticks out of my memory, to be honest."
Some of Victoria's pals were none too happy with Rio's comments, as a source told The Sun: "Victoria has spoken a lot about what she eats and to say she doesn’t is a load of nonsense.
"Why people are interested in what she eats is bizarre. Victoria has made no secret of the food she enjoys and doesn’t make an issue of it – so why people comment on it is baffling."
In February 2022, David Beckham got candid about his wife's diet, as he lamented them not trying new food together.
Discussing his wife's eating habits on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, David shared: "I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it.
"Unfortunately I'm married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years.
"Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that."
