The food chains that have reopened branches for delivery including KFC, Burger King and Five Guys

RESTAURANT chains including KFC, Burger King and Five Guys have started reopening branches for delivery so hungry diners can still get their fast food fix.

From opening times, to how you can order, here’s everything you need to know.

Fast food chains up and down the country started closing their doors at the end of last month due to coronavirus.

But some are now slowly reopening restaurants again, although only for delivery orders.

Some restaurants have also reopened for customers to click and collect.

This means you still can't dine-in and eat your food in the usual seating areas.

KFC

KFC fans can once again get their hands on their favourite fried chicken after the fast food chain reopened 15 branches for delivery only.

We've got the full list of reopened restaurants here.

Customers can order from these branches via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Each of these food ordering apps will have their own delivery fees, so remember to check what they're charging before you pay.

You can't order directly from the KFC website, or in-person at these restaurants, and you also won't be able to dine in.

KFC is running a limited menu to help keep workers safe, so not all options are available.

However, when The Sun checked using Deliveroo, KFC still had single sandwiches, smaller meal boxes and larger bucket options.

KFC has 900 outlets in the UK, with the chicken chain having temporarily shut up shop on March 23.

Burger King

Burger King has reopened a small number of restaurants for Whopper fans, and says it expects to open even more in the coming weeks.

Only four branches are currently open for delivery orders only – see the full list here.

That means if you're hungry for a burger, and you live nearby, you'll be able to order from Deliveroo and Just Eat.

But you might want to keep in mind that Deliveroo has a minimum spend of £5 for Burger King orders, plus a £2.95 delivery charge.

Just Eat charges a delivery fee of £2.50.

Burger King has confirmed it won't be running a full menu, but luckily its reduced range still includes classics such as the Whopper and Chicken Royale.

Burger King closed all 500 of its restaurants on March 24.

Five Guys

Five Guys has reopened 20 restaurants for click and collect and delivery orders only, along with a full menu.

See the full list of reopened Five Guys branches here.

Customers will be able to order food for click and collect via the Five Guys website.

It means while customers won't be able to dine in restaurants, they can order their food online before going to pick up their grub from outside branches.

Hungry diners can also order food for home delivery with Deliveroo.

Five Guys doesn't charge extra for click and collect orders, and there is no minimum spend.

If you're placing a home delivery order with Deliveroo, you'll need to spend a minimum a £5.

There's also a delivery charge of £2.99 per order.

Five Guys has 104 restaurants in the UK.

Costa Coffee

If you've missed your caffeine fix, Costa Coffee has reopened four branches for drive-thru and delivery orders.

Click here to see where Costa has reopened – although keep in mind customers won't be able to eat inside these stores.

For delivery orders, Costa is partnered with Uber Eats.

As well as hot drinks, Costa is also serving cakes and hot food, including toasties and sandwiches.

If you're ordering from Uber Eats, there is no minimum delivery spend but you'll need to pay a delivery fee of £3.50 per order.

Costa announced it was temporarily closing the majority of its 2,700 stores on March 23.

All its standalone and drive-thru branches were shut, but the coffee chain has kept some stores inside hospitals open to serve NHS staff.

Pret a Manger

Pret a Manger has reopened 10 London cafes close to hospitals to help serve frontline healthcare workers.

We've listed which branches have reopened here.

Like other chains, these Pret stores are only open for delivery orders.

Deliveries can be placed with Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats, depending on your location.

Just remember to add on how much each food ordering app charges for delivery.

For example, Deliveroo charges £3.49, Just Eat is £3 and Uber Eats charges £3.50.

Only a limited menu is available including the most popular sandwiches, salads and baguettes.

Pret a Manger has around 400 cafes in the UK, all of which shut on March 21.
