Take a Closer Look at Tiffany & Co.'s Miami Grand Prix Trophy
Following the reveal of a playful “Ultimate Participation Trophy” made in collaboration with MSCHF, Tiffany & Co. has offered a closer look at its sleek sterling silver trophies presented to the podium finishers of the first-ever Miami Grand Prix that took place over the weekend. Luxury American jeweler Tiffany & Co. boasts an over 160-year history of handcrafting sports trophies at its hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Its championship trophies, which number around 65 trophies each year, are commissioned by the top sporting leagues including the Super Bowl, PGA Tour, NBA Championship, and US Open as the ultimate badge of achievement.
Its latest introduction for the Miami Grand Prix arrives in a signature Tiffany blue presentation box and features a sleek silver build resembling a towering skyscraper. Sunday’s race saw Red Bull‘s Max Verstappen securing the first-place trophy which weighs in at 11.5 pounds and measures nearly two feet in height. The race name, track, and date are engraved front and center while the “T & CO MAKERS” hallmark is stamped on the base.
