    PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Sevilla and Dortmund have played only twice previously, in the 2010/11 UEFA Europa League group stage. The Spanish side won 1-0 in Germany thanks to a first-half Luca Cigarini goal, before a 2-2 draw in Spain on Matchday 6 with Romaric (31) and Frédéric Kanouté (35) on target for the home side after Shinji Kagawa's fourth-minute opener for Dortmund. Neven Subotić made it 2-2 four minutes after half-time, but Dortmund were unable to find a winning goal.

That left Sevilla in second place in Group J behind Paris Saint-Germain on ten points, one ahead of eliminated Dortmund.

    LOPETEGUI ON DORTMUND

'Dortmund can attack you in many ways and they are strong in the press after losing the ball. Terzic knows his players well as he was there before with Favre. In the matches I've analysed and not looking at the league table, I think they are a world-class team. We have to use our possession well and defend strongly when we don't have it.'

    LOPETEGUI ON TONIGHT

'I don't want to think what would be a good result, I think about working to achieve a good result. We are focused on playing our best against a team who will push us to the limit. It will be a great game. The demands are always high but even more in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.'

    GOOD EVENING

Welcome to our live blog of Sevilla v Borussia Dortmund

The two sides meet in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 knockout tie at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium tonight.

The two teams have not met since the group stages of the Europa League in the 2009-10 season.

Sevilla are in tremendous form having won their last nine games across all competitions and sit fourth in La Liga.

Dortmund have had a disappointing season so far; they are without a win in their last two Bundesliga games and are sixth in the table, 16 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Jesus Navas, Lucas Ocampos and Marcos Acuna will all be missing for Sevilla due to injury.

Rumoured West Ham target Youssef En-Nesyri will compete with Luuk De Jong to lead the line for the Spanish side.

Dortmund are experiencing an injury crisis; they will travel to Seville without Roman Burki, Thomas Meunier, Lukasz Piszczek, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Axel Witsel, Thorgan Hazard and Marcel Schmelzer due to injury.

Marwin Hitz and Emre Can are set to continue in goal and at right-back respectively in the absence of the aforementioned Burki and Meunier.

17-year-old England international Jude Bellingham is likely to start in midfield.
