Pregnant Scarlett Moffatt shares glimpse at babys adorable nursery in Durham home

Scarlett Moffatt has given fans a glimpse inside her baby's nursery as she prepares to welcome her first child.

The former Gogglebox favourite, 32, is expecting a son with long-term boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

In recent weeks, Scarlett has been busy preparing for the birth and has been sharing her journey on social media.

On Tuesday, the telly favourite gave her 2.3million Instagram followers a glimpse of the essentials she has purchased so far, as well as a look inside the nursery at their County Durham home.

Taking to her Instagram story, Scarlett said: "Me and Scott have been taking lots of advice off the NHS, from friends and family, from you guys messaging in when a while ago I was like, 'what do we buy?'

"I wish there was somewhere online that did a list of stuff that you need."

She added: "I know it's going to be sort of trial and error… We didn't want to overly buy loads of stuff that isn't going to get used so we've tried to be really practical but we are first time parents so, you know."

She said the baby's room would be 'Dr Seuss-themed' with a blue and cream colour scheme as revealed a blue Tommy Tippee nappy bin.

She showed off an array of other products from the acclaimed baby brand and said, "All of this stuff from Tommee Tippee is from a starter bundle which I just thought was so easy as first time parents. Here is everything we're going to need in one big bundle."

Scott's first purchases for the baby were some adorable short sleeved Star Wars-themed baby grows, as the couple both love the fantasy film franchise.

"We wanted it some parts neutral, the other part of it, really kidified – if that's a word."

She then showed off a ball pit and cuddly toys for her tot.

"Cute little ball pit," she wrote.

Scarlett and Scott have been together since 2019.

Weeks after revealing they were expecting a child together, the star then shared a sweet video where she announced the baby's sex.

Unveiling a gorgeous bouquet of flowers on her kitchen counter, Scarlett placed a one-tier cake as she grinned to the camera.

At first, the video was all filmed in black and white, but in a clever gender reveal, Scarlett's clip then slowly turned to colour.

Revealing an array of beautiful blue blooms and a stunning navy blue baked masterpiece, the star wrote: "In the great words of the Beatles… “Here comes the SON."
