Posting in the Facebook group “Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips” the woman revealed her tip.
She uses black tea…
That’s right, any old Yorkshire Tea or PG Tips will do for this trick.
So just grab your everyday brew – it should cost about 2p a time.
The woman wrote: “Tried and tested, this is fantastic.
"A lady on here commented that cold black tea for glass would be streak-free.
"Look at my kitchen window.
"Used my Minky glass cloth, a little spray of tea and it looks great!
“Moving on to the conservatory windows next."
To try it yourself, pour some boiling water on two black teabags and wait for the tea to go cold.
Remove the bag and pour the cooled tea into a spray bottle.
Spritz and wipe – voila!
Over 300 people commented on the clever cleaning hack.
Many asked her how many sprays she used.
She said: "There is no rule on how to do it.
"I used two tea bags left in approx 500ml boiling water, cooled.
"I used a couple sprays on one window.
“And buff away with a cloth."
We’ll be trying this one at the weekend – here we come streak-free shine!
