Katie Price offered music career revival lifeline by pop star after song flop
Katie Price is not afraid to dab her toes into any part of the showbiz world, including trying to crack the music industry with one Top 20 album and several singles.
Despite being known as a former Page 3 star and television personality, Katie launched a singing career back in 2006 with her then-husband, Peter Andre.
Since her debut in 2006, Katie's singing career has spawned four singles, with Free to Love Again charting at Number 60, while her latest two I Got U and Hurricane failed to chart.
But this could be set to change if Lia Metcalfe has anything to do with it.
The Katie superfan who is the lead singer of Liverpool band The Mysterines says she wants to get The Pricey on an album as well as launching a new band.
She exclusively told Daily Star: "I'd love to do a song with her, just me and her, that would be really cool.
"I'd have to do a separate act, it wouldn't be through The Mysterines, me and her could come up with a really cool band name."
Lia explained that she has "always" been a fan of the OnlyFans star but has no idea where her love for Katie came from.
"I've always known who Katie Price is, it's like when you're born you know all the words to Mr. Brightside, no one's ever read them, you just know them so I've always known Katie Price," she joked.
The Still Call You Home songstress added: "I think the more I realised how much of an icon she was, the more obsessed I got with her, and I just think she's great.
" just think she's like really cool, I reckon that me and her would really get on, we'd have a good laugh, good night out and I'd get involved in helping out with her mansion that she's renovating now.
"That's why she's on a special thanks on the record, she's a big inspiration."
Lia continued: "I think she's a misunderstood character, I think she's got a lot more to offer than she suggests, I wouldn't be surprised if she was secretly into karate or martial arts, she's got it in her."
The group last week celebrated their debut album, Reeling, landing at Number Nine in the official charts.
