But the range that has everyone talking is OGX Restoring + Bonding Plex, which has gained a lot of attention for its similarity to the much pricier celebrity-favourite brand Olaplex.
Posting to the Facebook group, one bargain hunter shared her recent purchases from the affordable range.
“I’ve been using Olaplex for 3 years now and I’ve started noticing it’s not as good!”
“Going to give this a try! More than half the price too,” she added.
The shopper had purchased the OGX Restoring Bonding Plex Shampoo, £7.99 here, the OGX Restoring Bonding Plex Conditioner, £7.99 here, and the OGX Restoring Bonding Plex Leave In Cream, £7.99 here.
Comments came flooding in from other members of the group who seemed equally as amazed with the high-street hair care brand.
“Love this stuff,” one shopper said.
“I swapped to OGX and am super happy.”
Another user claimed that while “OGX isn’t as thick as Olaplex – both products give great results.”
Olaplex has just launched an incredible new hair product – and the before and after photos are amazing
This £6.99 Superdrug conditioner is an amazing dupe for celebrity-favourite hair treatment Olaplex
“I’ve noticed my hair is a lot stronger and thicker and OGX is over a tenner cheaper as well, so great for a cheaper alternative,” she adds.
Though many shoppers were keen to try the Olaplex dupe, some were unsure about ditching their usual pricier shampoos for the OGX version.
“Still think Olaplex will be the winner,” one shopper said, “but could be a cheap in-between treatment alternative.”
The Olaplex range is popular among celebs like Khloe Kardashian, Olivia Bowen and Margot Robbie, who have all admitted to being fans of the brand.
