Facebook Avatar: How to make cartoon character designed to look like you

Facebook now lets you create your own Avatar, a cartoon character based on yourself.

You can use these fun creations to share them in Facebook comments and Messenger.

The Avatar is basically Facebook’s answer to Bitmoji, which came out for Snapchat in 2016.

Facebook explained: “The Avatars feature lets you customise your own personal avatar for use in stickers across comments and Messenger.

“It lets people create a new persona, allowing them to share across Facebook and Messenger in a more personal, light-hearted way.”

There are loads of emotions and expressions to choose from, which lets you react and engage more authentically with family and friends.

How to make Facebook Avatar:

First, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Facebook on your smartphone.

While on the App, press the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and click “See More”.

Find Avatars and select Next and Get Started.

You can now create your own cartoon character by customising different aspects such as skin tone, hairstyle and outfit.
