Carole Middleton gives rare insight into ‘silly Christmas’ plans with Royal grandchildren
Kate Middleton’s mum Carole has Christmas wrapped up for the Cambridge kids already, and it looks like so much fun!
Grandma Carole is the best entertainer thanks to her fab business Party Pieces. She’s given us an insight into a very silly Christmas with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “I’m going to need a few of these cheeky chaps this December, to hide around the house and make my grandchildren laugh. As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can’t be too serious at Christmas!
Carole, 66, shared a selection of Christmas trends on her sweet website, including ‘Silly Christmas’.
She shared: “I love to make Christmas fun and exciting for my grandchildren which is what our Silly Santa edit is for!”
Along with her Scandinavian-style gnomes, it seems Carole is planning a magical Christmas party for her beloved grandchildren including novelty paper plates, festive dress-up items and blow-up snowmen.
You can get your hands on her Santa-shaped plates, snowman Christmas napkins and even a novelty candy cane balloon tree ahead of the big day.
The little ones will be thrilled…but that’s not all she’s revealed about Christmas with the Cambridges.
In 2018, she shared a snippet with The Telegraph about their Christmas tree obsession.
She told the paper that she likes to have as many trees as possible in her home, Bucklebury Manor in Berkshire, including one in the grandchildren’s rooms “so that they can decorate it themselves.”
Carole missed out on Christmas with the Cambridges last year due to Coronavirus, but it didn’t stop the family finding fun.
She shared: “I normally let my grandchildren help me decorate the tree. This year I’ll ask them by video call to decide which decoration should go where. It may need to be tastefully rearranged later…!”
Carole’s also brought out a range of advent calendars to get kids excited on the countdown to Christmas. No doubt the little princes and princess have got their hands on them!
