Burberry's FW21 Pre-Collection Lookbook is a Lesson in Outerwear
Burberry has built on the launch of its heritage-inspired Future Archive capsule by revealing the lookbook for its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2021 pre-collection.
Inspired by the house’s long-standing connection with the outdoors and those exploring the unknown, Riccardo Tisci anchors the collection with signature garments like the trench coat and field jacket. Camouflage is called upon across outerwear, hoodies, cargo pants and kilts, while panelled florals adorn pieces like parka and bomber jackets.
Signature check coats with detachable bellow-pocket gilets sit alongside coordinated plaid kilts and tuxedo trousers, as silk satin zip-panels instantly transform a grain de poudre wool tailored coat and wool silk tailored jacket.
A series of restyled English-fit suits featuring embroidered detailing complete the collection, while badge appliqués adorn sports-influenced garments, as well as chequer print bib-front trousers.
You can view the full Burberry FW21 pre-collection above, with the offering itself set for release later this year.
In other fashion news, Angel Chen for Canada Goose has been showcased using a computer-generated lookbook.
