Aldi shoppers hail Martin Lewis £35 tip that helps keep you warm for 4p a week

The cost of living has crippled millions of Brits.

But recently, Martin Lewis has given a number of money saving tips to help homeowners deal with the rising prices.

Last week, the Money Saving Expert founder advised people on how to keep warm without switching the heating on.

As part of his tip, he suggested buying items like heated USB gloves and electric blankets to keep warm.

Now Aldi shoppers have discovered a £35 Specialbuy, reports Manchester Evening News.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook, Barbara Mann shared a snap of the heated throw with sleeves.

She wrote: "After Martin Lewis recommendations for keeping warm and using electric blankets if you only need to be warm in one room… bingo. £35 Aldi."

Struggling shoppers rushed to comment on the post, with it racking up a lot of attention.

One said: "I have this and absolutely love it! It's amazing also for when I have a fibro flare up!"

Another added: "I bought this for my hubby in February I have used it a couple of times at night or when ill and it's really warn without been plugged in."

A third Facebook user commented: "They are great. And I use it as an electric blanket on the very cold nights. So comfortable."

While a fourth admitted: "I use mine every day."

And a fifth posted: "I've got one of these and it's lush, so comfy and warm even without turning it on!"

Unfortunately the blankets are currently out of stock on the Aldi website, but you might be able to find one in your local.
