‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2’ Adds 37 New Songs To Soundtrack
Activision announced during a virtual concert on Tuesday (July 28) that the soundtrack to video game “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2” will see an addition of 37 new songs.
These songs will be in addition to 18 of the 30 tracks featured in the original two games, Activision said. Dead Kennedys‘ “Police Truk” and Goldfinger‘s “Superman” are among the songs from the original soundtrack to find place in the remaster. The 37 new tracks range from ’90s rap to ska punk.
“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2” includes some fan-favorite features from the original games. Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes have returned.
Among the artists included in the new tracks are A Tribe Called Quest, Machine Gun Kelly, Reel Big Fish, Zebrahead, and Sublime. A few that were missing before, including Suicidal Tendencies and Anthrax, are now featured on the poster.
FIDLAR‘s “West Coast,” Less Than Jake‘s “Bomb Drop,” MxPx‘s “Let’s Ride” and Sublime’s “Same In The End” are among the songs included in the new game.
During the virtual concert Tuesday, Machine Gun Kelly, CHAII, Rough Francis, Merkules and several other musicians performed.
The upcoming documentary from “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2,” Pretending I’m A Superman, is due out on digital streaming services on August 18. The remastered game hit shelves on September 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
