Tom Parker, 32, has hit back at a vile troll who told him he would “never beat” his cancer as he battles with a brain tumour.
The Wanted’s Tom Parker was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma in September 2020.
A glioblastoma is an aggressive brain tumour and Tom has been sharing his struggle with cancer with his followers on social media.
He posted on Instagram that he was on cycle 3 of “beating cancer’s a***”, along with a picture of the Temozolomide Accord tablets he was taking to help him in his fight against cancer.
However, one nasty individual chose to respond to the picture with spite and trolled him about his cancer treatment.
The troll cruelly wrote: “Nobody has ever beat what you have. You can fight like hell, but it will get you.”
Tom shared a picture of the nasty message to his Instagram stories and later responded to it with a video.
He wondered on the picture of the screenshot: “What the f*** is wrong with some people…Idiot Bruv!!!”
The singer then wrote: “Yeah well. Watch me beat it d**k stain!!!”
Tom went on to record a video for his story and spoke about the nasty message he received.
He said: “Am more sad about that post that someone put. Like I'm not even bothered about what they actually said. The fact that they've gone out of their way to say that is just ridiculous. Ridiculous. It doesn't make sense. Why would you do that?”

Last month Tom’s bandmate Max George was asked about his health by Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain.
Max responded: “I spoke to him a couple of days ago, he couldn't be doing better, honestly. He FaceTimed me last week and he was just sat in the garden having a beer. Sat in the sun, when it was sunny. Honestly, his spirits are really high and he's just looking forward to keep doing music and he's just Tom.”
Tom married Kelsey Hardwick in 2018 and they share children Aurelia and Bodhi together.
Speaking to New! Magazine, Kelsey opened up about talking to the children about Tom’s cancer diagnosis.
She said: “Both our children are so young and so they aren't really aware of what's going on. It's lovely that they just continue as normal, in their own little worlds.”
She continued: “We will be honest with them about Tom's illness when they are old enough to understand.”
