Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh, 43, left viewers’ jaws-dropping after her sensual routine with professional dancer partner Giovanni Pernice, 30. The dancing duo performed an Argentine Tango with an almost “near-kiss” at the end of their routine.
Ranvir and Giovanni joined Rylan Clark-Neal on Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two.
The BBC host quizzed the pair on their intense performance as he quizzed the GMB host about her “attitude” during her Strictly routine.
Ranvir defended herself, explaining she wanted the audience to “feel something” while watching her perform alongside Giovanni.
The small-screen star admitted that there are times when the duo has to give off a “romantic” persona.
Her comments come as Ranvir revealed Giovanni ensures that she puts in the work when taking to the dance floor.
Speaking on It Takes Two, Rylan said: “Ranvir, you gave attitude in that performance.
“Where do you draw that from when it comes to doing a dance like this?”
Ranvir replied: “Basically [Giovanni] will kill me if I don’t do it.”
Discussing perfecting their steamy routine, the GMB host explained she had to “drill the routine”.
“Every dance has its own story,” Ranvir explained.
“[Giovanni] always says that it’s performance value. It’s about bringing people in for those two minutes so that people feel something.”
She continued: “You’ve got to leave people feeling something and sometimes it’s romantic.

“Other times it’s all smouldering, sometimes it’s other things.
“It can be uplifting or emotional. But dancing is an expression of emotion, but ultimately, through your body. You have to express that.”
Ranvir scored her first 10 from the judges for her Argentine Tango on Saturday night.
The pair acted out a little kiss at the end of their fiery tango, and their chemistry got judge Shirley Ballas commenting: “It made me very hot under the collar, I have to say.”
Ranvir has denied any romance between the pair and insisted they were anything but professional dance partners.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she confirmed: “We are definitely not going out, you can’t go out anyway!”
Ranvir and Giovanni will be hitting the dance floor this week to perform an American Smooth.
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday night on BBC One and It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
