Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Clap for Healthcare Workers Amid Coronavirus Cris
The three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton delight many with a surprise video, thanking all the ‘carers’ who work ‘tirelessly to help those affected by COVID-19.’
AceShowbiz -Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have expressed their respect and gratitude toward those in the frontline of the coronavirus crisis. On Thursday, March 26, Kensington Palace put out a video that captured the three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton clapping for the healthcare workers.
The short clip displays the trip smiling as they stand side-by-side with youngest Louis positioned in between the older royals. “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you,” its caption read, followed by multiple trending hashtags, including #ClapForOurCarers, #ClapForCarers, #ThankYouNHS and #ClapForNHS.
George, Charlotte and Louis went color coordinated in the short video. 6-year-old George donned a navy blue short sleeve shirt, while his younger brother wore a lighter-shade of blue sweater. 4-year-old Charlotte, on the other hand, rocked a striped white-and-blue top with her hair parted in the middle in half-up do.
George, Charlotte and Louis were not the only U.K. royal members expressing their gratitude to the medical personnel amid the crisis. Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son, Prince Edward, and his family have also honored healthcare workers.
“So from all of us, just a huge thank you to so many of you working on the frontline, we really appreciate it, keep up the fantastic work,” the Earl of Wessex said in a video posted in the official account of the Royal Family.
Attached to the video post are photos of Queen meeting NHS workers in the past. A statement from the Monarch was also included in the caption. “We are enormously thankful for the expertise and commitment of our scientists, medical practitioners and emergency and public services,” she was quoted saying.
George, Charlotte and Louis’ appreciation video came just one day after it was announced that their grandfather Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus. Though so, it was stated that Prince of Wales “remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”
