Strictly Come Dancing professionals Neil Jones, 38, and Katya Jones, 31, split in 2019 after 11 years together, but have remained friends. In his latest TikTok video, he and his estranged wife danced together to Justin Wellington and Small Jam’s song Iko Iko, which includes lyrics about “besties”.
The dancer joked that his former wife made him do the dance, but told fans she wasn’t his best friend.
As the pair’s routine commenced, Neil branded Katya’s enthusiastic energy as “over the top”.
He then jokingly booted his ex out of the video so he could perform alone.
But determined to take centre stage, she shimmied back in front of the camera.
“She always ruins my videos,” he said.
Many of Neil’s 168,000 followers flocked to his post to comment.
One user wrote: “The most confusing relationship ever.”
The dancer replied with crying with laughter emojis, adding: “What’s confusing? We dance and work together.”
A second commented: “Amazing chemistry and so nice to see exes so amicable.”
“I can’t stand her,” he jokingly replied.
Many others questioned whether the pair were back together.
“Only dancing,” he confirmed in a reply.

Neil also hit back at a TikTok user who accused him of cheating on Katya.
“When did I cheat?” he replied.
The former couple split 18 months after Katya was pictured kissing her ex Strictly partner Seann Walsh in 2018.
The latter was also in a relationship at the time and the pair later apologised for their actions.
Earlier this year, Neil discussed his friendship with his ex in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.
He said: “We’ve been through so much together and have known each other for years, she’s a good friend of mine.
“We will always be friends no matter what.”
The former couple were together for 11 years together, five of which they were married.
