Neil Jones: ‘Can’t even say goodbye’ Strictly pro’s devastation as he speaks on ‘sad fact’

Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones, 37, who split from Katya Jones, 30, announced the death of his uncle Johnny last month. The professional dancer took to Twitter and said he is unable to attend the funeral due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A nationwide lockdown has been put in place due to coronavirus pandemic, preventing groups from getting together.

Social distancing rules have determined that individuals stay indoors and to not attend mass gatherings including weddings, funerals, bars or restaurants in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter, Neil shared an emotional message in view of his 85,000 followers.

He penned: “Today is my uncle’s funeral but the sad fact is we can’t even say goodbye. RIP Johnny and my thoughts are with my family. Thank you to everyone who stood out in his street just to pay their respects.”
