Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams, 44, recalled being mistaken for Naomi Campbell several times when she first moved to London, but had no idea who the 51-year-old supermodel was at the time. The reality star said she moved to the UK as a “naive girl from South America” and was swiftly approached by members of the public about her identity.

Lystra said she’d often get stopped in the street with people mistaking her for Naomi, which prompted her to contact lookalike agencies.

She said: “I was walking down the street and people were stopping me going, ‘Do you know who you look like? Oh my God, you look like Naomi Campbell!’

“I didn’t know who she was, I was like, why are these people staring at me?

“So, I went through this thing where somebody gave me the number for a lookalike agency and I rang up three of them in one day and they all said, ‘Yes’.

“I swear if I was to get a pound for everytime I’ve been compared to her, then b****y hell.”

Lystra is yet to meet the supermodel, but said she would love to in the future.

Last month, Naomi shocked her fans by announcing she had become a mother at the age of 51, after keeping her baby news a secret.

In view of her 10 million followers, she wrote: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.

“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel.

“There is no greater love.”

Lystra said of the model’s news: “I was shocked, but you know what good on her.

“She’d make a great mum I think.”

The reality star has since gone to become a successful businesswoman as well as being a cast member of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire.

But, joining the show, she claims, wasn’t all plain sailing.

The Boujee restaurant owner said she was surprised how unwelcoming some of her co-stars were.

She spilled: “I think from the start, other than Tanya [Bardsley], they all kind of shocked me a bit.

“I thought that they sort of knew who I was as they’ve seen me on the scene a few times.

“I thought I probably would’ve had a better welcome and I was shocked that I didn’t.

“The only one that really welcomed me with open arms was Tanya.”

The Real Housewives of Cheshire airs Mondays at 9pm on ITVBe.
