Kevin had originally tweeted: “It was a privelege to be with u all in a theatre tonight.”(sic)

Before later correcting his spelling, as he typed: “Just got a call from @StaceyDooley to say i keep spelling privilege wrong.”

Underneath fans applauded Stacey for “looking out” for Kevin.

Former Strictly contestant Judy Murray said: “That made me laugh…… love how she’s looking out for you.”

A second replied: “I did notice the misspelling, it made me twitch but I don’t know you well enough to correct you. Thanks Stacey.”

A third commented: “Well done Stacey, Kevin you should know better.”

Kevin and Stacey met when they were paired together on Strictly back in 2018.

At the time, Stacey was in a relationship with Sam Tucknott but they split after three years together, shortly after the series ended.

After their split, she struck up a romance with Kevin, who was single at the time.

Professional dancer Kevin has been married three times and split with his former wife Karen Hauer back in March 2018.

Kevin recently addressed concerns over his decision to leave Strictly Come Dancing at the beginning of the year, prior to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking on his podcast, he said: “Who knows if I’ll go back to Strictly, never say never.

“I think if I’ve learned anything it’s you never close the door.

“You just don’t know how things are going to go.

“I thought I was going to be on stage all year and all of a sudden that’s not happening any more.”

Previously the dancer admitted he was “jealous” of Stacey, who is already back at work following the couple’s extended career break due to the coronavirus.

Kevin was speaking with screenwriter Joe Barton when he made the surprising revelation on his podcast.

He explained: “This last month, I’ve started to get an itching to get back to work, and my girlfriend is back at work. I’m getting jealous of that. I’m starting to get really fed up now.”

The dancer explained how social media could often put pressure on people to achieve goals during their free time, but he has found it a struggle being away from work.

Kevin shared: “You go on Instagram, and you start seeing all these quotes like, ‘Well it was in the lockdown situation that Shakespeare wrote three of his best things’.”
