A source has told The Sun: “Katie's working with a production company and it's in development – and because the house is such a wreck, it would be a real transformation.

“She'd be doing it all, showing fans how they can transform their home for not much money, but with Katie's clever hints and tips.

“Everyone knows she's hilarious on camera, so everyone's sure a TV channel would jump at the chance to stump up the cash and get behind the project.”

It comes after Katie shared a glimpse inside the mansion as she asked fans for hints and tips for restoring her home.

The model, who recently shared her heartbreak as her mum Amy “hasn’t got long to live”, gave a glimpse inside her abode as she posted a photo on her Instagram page dedicated to the project.

The first post on the account, which was created at the start of April, showed a screenshot of the definition of the word ‘plucky,’ which means “having or showing determined courage in the face of difficulties.”

The star wrote to her 123,000 home account followers: “So it's true, I’ve decided to include everyone and want advice and ideas on making a new start on my so called mucky mansion.
