Jamie Redknapp and his girlfriend Frida Andersson-Lourie won’t find out their unborn baby’s gender, Jamie’s super excited parents Harry and Sandra Redknapp have told OK!.
Harry and Sandra, both 74, sat down for an exclusive chat with OK! this week and opened up how happy they are to be set to welcome another grandchild into their loves.
Speaking about the upcoming arrival, Harry revealed loved up couple Jamie and Frida won’t be finding out the baby’s gender. Harry explained: “They’re going to keep it a secret.”
Sandra confirmed that the news is “exciting.” Harry added: “Jamie is very happy and Frida is happy. We’re lucky that Jamie has two boys already, Charley and Beau, and our other son Mark has five children, so this will be grandchild number eight. We’ve got our hands full!”
Football pundit Jamie, 47, shares sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, with ex-wife Louise, 46. The couple parted ways in 2017 after nearly twenty years of marriage and Jamie has since gone on to find love with model Frida, 37.
Jamie and Frida will soon share seven children between them, since Frida has four children from a previous marriage to US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.
The Sun first reported that Jamie was expecting another bundle of joy earlier this year.
A source told the publication: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted. They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.”
The source continued: “The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing.
“But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
Meanwhile, Jamie’s ex-wife Louise recently opened up about being ditched by some of the couple’s celebrity pals following their split.
The singer opened up about how some of her celebrity friends stopped inviting her to gatherings after they separated.
“These women were my friends. We went on holiday together, went out for dinner together and shared countless special memories,” Louise wrote in her memoir, You’ve Got This.
"While they still enjoy couples’ nights out – birthday parties, Christmas dos, drinks and the like – I’m only invited for coffee."
Meanwhile, Harry recently said in a chat that Louise was “doing great” after Jamie’s baby news.
Speaking toThe Sun,he said that Jamie and his ex Louise, who he shares Charles, 16, and Beau, 12, with, are on good terms and even remarked that the Eternal star is "doing great".
