Here’s How Much Lee Brice Is Really Worth
“Hard To Love” country singer Lee Brice may have some trouble earning affections in his romantic relationships but he’s certainly gained the admiration of millions of die-hard fans. The critically acclaimed country music star currently has seven No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay songs to his name. However, before penning his own chart-toppers, Brice was signed to a publishing contract that allowed him to write songs for some of Nashville’s top musicians (via Curb Records). The singer-songwriter penned such hits as Garth Brook’s “More Than a Memory,” Tim McGraw’s “Still,” and Eli Young’s first No. 1 song “Crazy Girl.”
Following his massive success writing songs for other artists, Brice signed his own recording deal with Curb Records, and in 2010, he released his debut studio album Love Like Crazy, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Brice has since released four more albums and continues to author songs for other top artists as well.
Lee Brice holds a country music record
Not only do Lee Brice’s songs perform well on the charts but they set new standards. His fourth single, “Love Like Crazy,” broke the long-standing record for the most weeks spent on the Billboard Country Songs chart. In September 2010, a full year after Brice released “Love Like Crazy,” the song rose to No. 3, marking its 55th week on the chart, one better than the previous record-holder for longevity, Eddy Arnold’s “Bouquet of Roses” from 1948 (via CMT).
Brice has won many awards for his talents, too. In 2013, he won his first Country Music Association award for his hit song “I Drive Your Truck” (via The Boot). He’s also won two Academy of Country Music Awards: Song of the Year (also for “I Drive Your Truck”) in 2014 and Single Record of the Year (“I Don’t Dance”) in 2015. He most recently won his second CMA for his No. 1 duet “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce (via Curb Records).
Further, according to Billboard, in 2020, Brice teamed up with musicians Rob Hatch and Elisha Hoffman and industry executives Derek and Kristi Hutchins to launch Pump House Records. This label plans to offer its clients A&R, promotion, and other label services.
With Brice’s busy schedule writing hit songs for big artists, setting records with his own music, and helping up-and-coming artists find their sound, he has made a great deal of money over the years. Per Celebrity Net Worth, Lee Brice is worth $6 million dollars, as of 2021.
