Just days after Helen Flanagan gave birth to her third child, a baby boy, with her fiance Scott Sinclair, the former Coronation Street actress has revealed she has been using cabbage leaves to help with breastfeeding.
The soap star, 30, who gave birth to her first son on 25 March, gave an update on how she has found breastfeeding so far on her Instagram stories.
Helen firstly shared a bare-faced selfie with her followers while feeding her and Scott’s little bundle of joy as she wrote: “Breastfeeding while doing house jobs. I washed my hair.”
The actress decided to post a video onto her story as she announced: "So, I’ve got tea on. Charlie is in the baby carrier. He’s had a feed," before showing the cabbage leaf on camera as she said: "I’ve had to put a cabbage leaf in my bra."

“Delilah loves him,” she added, as her two year old daughter came onto the camera to see her mum and baby brother.
Helen then asked: “Darling, are you going to give Charlie a bath?” before Delilah let out a scream. “Darling, you can have him in a minute.”
According to the NHS, applying chilled cabbage leaves to your breasts after feeding or expressing will help reduce the pain and swelling.

Helen previously spoke out about the birth of her son, calling the labour “magical”, despite not having a water birth as she planned.
“One of my proudest moments is giving birth to Charlie I was so lucky I had the loveliest midwife looking after me that day and Scott and I are so grateful to her for the safe delivery of our boy,” she said.
“She was amazing and held my hand with Scott through it. I wanted a water birth like I had with Delilah.
"Delilah's birth was so quick, only two hours and really straight forward. I had to have my waters broken with Charlie though and he pooed so I gave birth on the bed and didn’t let go of my gas and air for a second.
"I feel like I can do anything now and it was really magical.
"He was 8lbs 4.5oz which is mine and Scott’s biggest baby our girls were really petite. It was really nice to have Charlie at Bolton Hospital too where my mum gave birth to me.” [sic]
