Countryfile’s Matt Baker has caused a stir on social media after posting a picture of himself in nothing but boxer shorts and wellies.
Matt, 43, uploaded the post on Sunday – the hottest day of the year so far.
He captioned the surprising snap: “Too early and hot for anything else…#wellies #boxers #farm #nosocksnoproblem”
His former Countryfile co-star Julia Bradbury was one of the first to write on the post, writing: “Now that's a look”
Fans comments bounced between finding the snap hilarious and being concerned for Matt in case he isn’t wearing any socks.
One wrote: “You defo need socks or you're going to be stuck in wellie vacuum.”
Another wrote: “The dreaded Welly Leg Rub – where you have a line of leg hair rubbed off.”
One fan joked: “That’s a look for the front cover of GQ mag.”
While another fan offered some sage advice, writing: “Don’t let pesky horse flies nip your pins.”
Other fans simply commented with lots of laughter emojis.
Matt’s first TV presenter stint was on Blue Peter, he later joined Countryfile in 2008.
The TV presenter joined The One Show in 2011 and bid farewell to the show that he presented with Alex Jones for nine years in April 2020.
Alex Jones was left in tears after a montage of Matt’s best moments from the nine years that he’s hosted the programme aired on his final day on the programme.
Matt told Alex as he spoke of their friendship: “I’ve watched your life change as well, you’ve got married and had two children. It’s quite amazing that we’ve been there together for nearly ten years. Thats rare in the world of television, so thank you for all of your support.”
A tearful Alex then added: “No, thank you. And you are holding it together way better than I am.”
