Woman reveals how to make a McFlurry at home with just three ingredients
MCDONALD’S might be closed for the foreseeable future but that doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on your McFlurry fix.
One woman has shared her recipe for creating an Oreo McFlurry at home, and all you will need is three ingredients.
Taking to Facebook she shared her simple recipe which will achieve the same tasty whipped, frozen texture that you get at the fast food restaurant.
The amateur cook recommends crushing the cookies in a sandwich bag to achieve the same texture that you get in store.
To make the sweet treat, all you will need is cream, and Oreo cookies.
Simply combine the cream and condensed milk before adding the crushed biscuits and allow it to set for four hours before eating (see full recipe below.)
You can add additional crushed cookies, or a whole or mini Oreos as a topping if desired.
Captioning her snaps, the woman wrote: “MY HOMEMADE COOKIES AND CREAM ICE CREAM 🍨😍😊 or should I say…. HOMEMADE MCFLURRY!!!!
- 250ml all purpose cream
- 216ml condensed milk
- Six Oreo cookies
Combine the all purpose cream and half of the condensed milk.
Taste the mixture – if it is not sweet enough, add the remaining condensed milk.
Meanwhile, place the Oreo cookies in a sandwich bag and use a rolling pin to crush the biscuits until fine.
Add the crushed cookies to the cream mixture, and mix in well.
Place in the freezer for 4-5 hours until the mixture is set, avoiding opening the freezer ahead of time.
Use a spoon to scoop out the mixture, and add a whole Oreo cookie to serve.
